Frances Webster

websterFrances Webster, age 95, Logansport, passed away at 10:30 a.m., on Wednesday, June 22, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born in Logansport on October 26, 1920, she was the daughter of Dennis and Goldie Stewart McManus.

On December 6, 1940, in Peru, she was married to James Otis Webster, who preceded her in death on August 31, 1984.
Frances had attended school in Washington Township, and was a seamstress with H. W. Gossard Company for 34 years.

She enjoyed being a homemaker, baking, and tending to her lawn and garden.  She loved her little dog, Mitzi.

Surviving are granddaughters, Melissa (Scott) Stebbins and Trina Gleeson, all of Logansport; sisters, Rebecca Reichard, Culver, Marie (Dominic) Mittica, Logansport; sister-in-law, Ruth Jane Altmyer, Logansport; great grandchildren, Conor Alcala, Adam Alcala, Dylan Gleeson, and Breanne Gleeson; great-great grandson, Wesley Wells;  Also surviving are grandchildren, Carmen Shanks, Renee Sherman, Lisa Benedict, and Pam (Duane) Salisbury and their children and grandchildren; along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were daughter, Judy Kay Hayden; son-in-law, Ray Hayden; sisters, Lova Kelly and Merle Reichard; brothers, Dennis McManus, Wayne McManus, Walter McManus, Dale McManus, and Rayburn ‘Mike’ McManus; daughter, Shirley Benedict; son-in-law, Dean Benedict, and grandson, Jimmy Benedict.

The service will be on Friday, June 24, 2016, at 2:00 p.m., at Kroeger Funeral Home, with Pastor Don Cline officiating.

Visitation will be from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m., on Friday, prior to the service.

Interment will follow in Clymers Cemetery.
