Filing for school board seats begins July 27, 2016

Three seats on the school boards for Logansport, Pioneer, Southeastern and Caston will be on the ballot for the general election on Nov. 8.

All candidates for school board appear on the ballot without a party designation.

Candidates for school board must file a statement of economic interest and a petition of nomination signed by ten registered voters from their school corporations.

The first day for a candidate for a school board office to file a petition of nomination with the county election board is Wednesday, July 27, 2016, and the DEADLINE is noon on Friday, August 26, 2016.

Candidates for Caston must file in Fulton County. Candidates for Logansport, Pioneer and Southeastern should file in the Cass County Clerk’s Office.

Current members of the school boards for each corporation and the areas they represent are as follows:
