Helen M. Fowler, 87 of Lucerne passed away peacefully at 1:00 a.m., Friday, July 22, 2016 at her home.
Born August 26, 1928 in Elkhart, she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Bonnie (Wolf) McCloskey. On December 31, 1950, she married Harold Fowler who survives.
She was a 1945 Logansport High School graduate.
Helen retired from General Telephone where she worked as a telephone operator. She was a devoted homemaker and mother.
She was a member of St. James Lutheran Church.
Survivors include her devoted caretaker and husband, Harold Fowler of Lucerne, son, Bradley Fowler (Nancy) of Walton, daughter, Sandra Kistler (Jay) of Flora, sisters, Betty Viney of Logansport and Lois Sherrill of West Lafayette.
Grammy Helen is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Melissa Ayres (Josh), Tyler Fowler, Kayla Tinsman (Rustin), Abbey Hardin (Evan), Emily Beaver (Jarred) and Drew Fowler and 6 great grandchildren, Jacob Ayres, Grace Ayres, Travis Tinsman, Brooklyn Tinsman, Harper Hardin and Luke Beaver.
Services will be private.
