rouchBetty L. Rouch, age 89, formerly of Fulton County, passed away at 11:30 a.m., on Tuesday, August 2, 2016, in Miller’s Merry Manor in Peru.

Born August 25, 1926, in Rochester, she was the daughter of William and Estella Walters Biddinger.

On August 24, 1945, she was married to George ‘Bud’ Rouch, who preceded her in death.

Betty had been employed as an administrative assistant in the ASLS office in Rochester.

A graduate of Richland Center High School, where she graduated as class valedictorian, she was a member of the Fulton Baptist Temple.

She and her husband were a long-time Fulton County farm family.

Surviving are her children, Mark (Jill) Rouch, Logansport, Pat (Gary) Von Derheide, Venice, Florida, and Cindy Rouch, Peru; a brother, William (Posey) Biddinger, Valparaiso, and a sister, Willodean Hoesel, Phoenix.

Also surviving are grandchildren, Tyler (Melissa) Von Derheide, Marion, Derek (Alicia) Von Derheide, Washington, DC, Tucker Rouch, Logansport, and Anna Horn and Blake Horn, Peru; and several nieces and nephews.

A sister, Bernice Crabbs, preceded her in death.

The visitation will be on Monday, August 8th, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at Kroeger Funeral Home.

The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Bruce Russell officiating.

Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Fulton County.
