Keith A. Boller

bollerKeith A. Boller, 84 of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.

Born on November 3, 1931 in Newton, Kansas, he was the son of the late Walter and Mabel (McFarlane) Boller. On July 1, 1972 in Paoli, Indiana Keith married Sue A. Roberts who survives.

Keith retired from the Purdue Co-Op Extension after working there for 31 years. He attended and graduated from Kansas State University where he was a member of the ROTC Program, he then graduated from New Mexico State with his Master’s Degree in Animal Science. Keith was a United States Air Force Veteran. He was a member of Cross Wind United Methodist Church and headed the landscape committee when the new church was built. Keith was also a former member of the Logansport Noon Kiwanis. He enjoyed raising Paint and Quarter Horses and was involved in 4-H for 31 years.

Surviving along with his wife Sue are three sons, Kurt (Emily) Boller, Fort Wayne; Ben (Lisa) Boller, Dallas, TX; Mike (Deanna) Emmons, Akron, IN; two daughters, Kristie (Bruce) Arnn, House Springs, MO; Dee Emmons, Kokomo; 14 grandchildren; and 8 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Lou Ellen Forrer; granddaughter, Leslie Lawyer; and a grandson, Daniel Boller.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, August 6, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. George Plasterer officiating. Burial with full military graveside rites will be held in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00 PM Friday, August 5, 2016 in the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
