Frances Marie Roberts, 71, of Logansport, passed away at 8:17 a.m. on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at her residence.
She was born on July 3, 1945 in Logansport, was a 1963 Logansport High School graduate, Treasurer of the Cass County Genealogical Society in 2016 and a member of the Twelve Mile United Methodist Church. Frances was a loving mother who enjoyed helping others, spending time with her family, sewing, crocheting, embroidering and traveling.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer and Dorothy Allen, her brother, Nicholas Allen, and her sister, Anna Cotner (Daniel), and one great grandchild.
She is survived by her brother, Cliff Allen (Deb) of Logansport, and her four children, Carol Ann Hernandez (Cecil) of Florida, John Roberts (Michelle Slusher) of Virginia, Pat Roberts (Candy) of Logansport, and Tracy Roberts (Kevin Crockett) of Oregon.
Additional survivors include her companion, Ann Layman, Candice (Jeremy) Hinkle and Brian Layman (Sarah Buck), all of Logansport along with 9 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and 1 deceased great grandchild.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service and a Celebration of Life at 12:00 Noon, at the Twelve Mile United Methodist Church with Pastor Darlene DeHaai officiating on Saturday, October 22, 2016.
Interment will be private.
