James W. Morris Jr., 56, of Logansport, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 in Zionsville.
Born November 20, 1959 in Logansport, he was the son of the late James Sr. and Lavinia (Birnell) Morris.
On April 11, 1997, in Logansport, he was married to Rena (Enyeart) Morris, who survives.
A graduate of Winamac High School, James had been employed with Cal-Comp USA.
James enjoyed building models, fishing and being at home with his four lovely dogs. He enjoyed spending time with his family.
Also surviving are one son, Travis Morris of Jackson, Michigan, two step-sons, Kyle (Rebecca) Downs of Zionsville and Kory M. Downs of Logansport; two brothers, Paul Morris of Kokomo and Charles (Autumn) Morris of Logansport; two sisters, Amy Morris of Warsaw and Alberta Tutterow of Logansport, and one granddaughter, Breanna Morris.
He was preceded in death by siblings Darrell Morris, Dottie Titira and Janice Morris.
A memorial service celebrating the life of James W. Morris will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, October 29 in Fisher Funeral Chapel.
