William M. “Mike” Bryan

William M. “Mike” Bryan, 80 of Logansport, passed away Thursday, October 20, 2016 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis, IN.

Born on December 22, 1935 in Cass County, Indiana, he was the son of the late William Edward and Ruby (Klepinger) Bryan. On August 9, 1986 in Logansport, Indiana he married Suzan “Sue” Perkins who survives.

Mike was a 1954 graduate of Logansport High School. After graduating Mike joined the Army and was transferred to the Indiana National Guard. While in the National Guard, he went into farming with his father. In 1971 Mike joined the Logansport Fire Department where he retired after 20 years of service.

Mike was an avid auto sports fan, he enjoyed cooking and took pride in keeping his yard manicured. The most important thing to Mike was spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving along with his wife Sue, are two sons, LeWayne (Michelle) Bryan; Damon (Cathy) Bryan, both of Logansport; step son, Matthew Rush, Indianapolis; grandchildren, Natalie (Cole) Deason, Westfield; Jake Bryan, Pomona, CA; Ashley Bryan, Fishers, IN; Brianna Bryan; and Nathan Bryan, both of Logansport; two great grandsons, Tristan and Spencer Deason, Westfield; mother in law, Bonnie Perkins, Logansport; cousins, Jean Edwards and Carol Draper; several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

He was preceded in death by four sisters, Eleanor Wright, Mary Smith, Margaret Smith and Joan Bryan; and one brother, Glen Bryan.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, October 24, 2016 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Dr. Horace Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the St. Johns Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 1-4 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2016 also in the funeral home.
