mckinleyCpl. Dustin Michael McKinley, (USMCR), age 26, Logansport, passed away at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, November 19, 2016, in his residence.

Born March 7, 1990, in Lafayette, he was the son of Jerry and Tamera Morrison McKinley. His father survives, residing in Delphi. His mother, Tammy Warner (husband, Mike), survives, residing in Logansport.

On December 29, 2010, in Logansport, he was married to Holly Sink, who survives.

Dustin was a student at Indiana University, Kokomo, studying physics. He loved science.

Dustin served his country in the United States Marine Corps, with a tour in Afghanistan, and was currently a member of the Marine Corps Reserves.

He followed the Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame sports and the Indiana Pacers. He enjoyed video games, discussing politics, reading and anything outdoors, especially camping. Foremost was the love he had for his dogs, Cooper, Luca and Zeus.

Surviving are sisters, Kristen Edwards, Bunker Hill, Nicole Mosby, Delphi, Amanda McKinley (fiance, Alex Maloy), Logansport, Kayla Warner, Pensacola, FL; brother, Michael Warner, Kokomo; grandmothers, Sue McDonald and Pat Warren; great grandfather, Russell Powell; step grandfather, Deane Warner.

Also surviving are his father- and mother-in-law, Ron and Julie Sink, Logansport; sisters-in-law, Kristen Sink (Helio Millan), Norfolk, VA, Shannon Sink (fiance, Aaron Hoover), West Lafayette, Caitlynn Sink, Logansport; nieces and nephews, Korina Crandell, Adyson Mosby and Luna Millan.

Friends may greet and pay their respects to the family from 3:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 25th, at Kroeger Funeral Home.

Military honors will be accorded at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, also at the funeral home.
