Jane Miller (Mary Jane Miller), 94, Royal Center passed away at 5:45 p.m., Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.
Born October 8, 1922 in Thornhope, she was the daughter of the late William C. and Myrtle (Fultz) Batty.
She was a 1940 Royal Center High School graduate.
On October 26, 1940, she married Earl L. “Bud” Miller. He preceded her in death on October 11, 1993.
Jane was a homemaker and she also retired from Engineering Aggregates Inc. in Logansport.
She was a member of Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center and she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her children, Jeffrey L. Miller of Royal Center, Shirley Blackketter (William) of Bloomington and Debra Kuykendall (David) of Evansville, 12 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by sons, Larry Miller and Ronald Miller, sister, Maude Jones and brother, Russell Batty.
Services will be at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 28, 2016 Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel with Pastor Richard Utterback officiating.
Visitation will from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday.
Burial will be at Royal Center Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Baptist Christian Church and/or the American Cancer Society.
