Logansport accepting proposals for Mount Hope Cemetery master plan

The City of Logansport, Indiana will accept proposals for the creation of a long-term master plan for Mount Hope Cemetery, the third-largest municipal cemetery in the state of Indiana.

The scope of the work will include but not limit the master plan to the creation of an active, working document that forecasts land acquisition needs, actuarial data for death rate projections financing of perpetual care and infrastructure, equipment and staffing, lighting and other public safety concerns, the future use of the chapel, traffic flow, speed limits, drainage issues, maintenance of streets and curbing and the general long-term viability of the cemetery.

Proposals will be accepted by the Logansport Board of Public Works and Safety until 10 a.m. March 1, 2017.
