Norma Solano-Salinas, 41, of Logansport passed away February 10, 2017 in St. Vincent Hospice, Indianapolis.

Born May 31, 1975, in Mexico City, Mexico, she was the daughter of Celerina Salinas, who survives.

Norma was a homemaker.  She was a member of Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church.

Surviving with her mother are two daughters: Cynthia Leon and boyfriend Austin Maier of Lafayette, and Norma Angelica Solano-Leon of Logansport; three brothers, Rolando Salinas, of Utah, and Juan (Gracie) Solano and Oscar Solano, all of Logansport; her maternal grandfather, Salvador Salinas; her nieces and nephews: Alysabeth Falcon, Gabrielle Falcon, Juan Carlos Solano, Oscar Solano, Marcella Solano, Juan Solano Jr. and Eliana Solano.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Andrea Salina-Ruiz.

A Mass of Christian burial  will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15 in Our Lady of the Lakes Catholic Church, 543 South Main Street, Monticello with Father Rasner officiating.

Burial will follow in Davis Cemetery, near Burnettsville.

Family and friends will be received from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 14 in Fisher Funeral Chapel, where the Rosary will be recited at 4 p.m.
