Douglas F. Fox

Douglas F. Fox, 64, of Royal Center passed away at 12:55 p.m., Friday, March 24, 2017 at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born February 25, 1953, he was the son of the late William and Dorothy (Ringen) Fox.

On September 20, 1986, he married Nancy Ann Busch. She preceded in death on September 13, 2013.

He graduated from West Central High School in 1971 and Purdue University in 1975 with a Bachelor Degree in Agricultural Systems Management.

Doug was a farmer who loved working with livestock and raising row crops. He worked in sales at Nichols Tillage Tools for over 30 years.
He was an avid Purdue fan and enjoyed watching sports and being outdoors.  He especially loved spending time with his “little” girls.

Survivors include his children, Erica S. Field (Mark) of Kewanna, Matthew D. Fox of Royal Center, Katy R. Fox (Cole Callaway) of Brookston and Ross W. Fox of Royal Center, grandchildren, Jadyn, Ali and McKenna Field of Kewanna, brothers, Ray Fox (Robin) of Brownsburg, Rich Fox (Marcia) of Edwardsburg, MI. and Ron Fox (Laura) of Star City and sister, Kay Allen (Don) of Francesville.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 29, 2017 All Saints Catholic Church with Father Dominic Petan officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, March 28 at Harrison-Metzger & Rans Funeral Home, Royal Center Chapel.

Burial will be at St. James Salem Cemetery in Francesville.
