James V. “Bus, Buster” Malott

James V. “Bus, Buster” Malott, 94 of Logansport passed away Wednesday, March 15, 2017 in his residence.
Born on January 4, 1923 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Elmer D. and Edna Marie (Ridenour) Malott.  On November 10, 1945 in Logansport he married Betty J. McMillin who survives.
“Bus” retired in 1982 from Rockwell International. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during World War II. He was a member of the V.F.W. Post #3790 and the American Legion Post #60.
Surviving along with his wife Betty, are two children, Darlene Malott, Chatsworth, CA; John (Marti) Malott, Lakeland, FL; brother, Donald J. Malott, Loomis, CA; sister, Dorothy J. Shover, Mesa, AZ; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by three brothers.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial with full Military Rites will follow in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service on Monday.
Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or the American Kidney Association.
