William “Bill” C. Hunt

William “Bill” C. Hunt, 78 of Logansport, went home to be with the Lord, March 1, 2017 at St. Vincent Heart Center in Indianapolis.

Born on January 18, 1939 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Kermit and Edith A. (Kitson) Hunt.  On November 20, 2013 in Pigeon Forge, TN he married Mincy Andojar who survives.

Bill was a 1958 graduate of Logansport High School. After high school he entered the United States Army. After serving his country Bill attended Ball State University.  Bill was a retired brakeman for the C&O Railroad.

Bill was an avid golfer. He loved attending auctions and antiquing.  He enjoyed reading, was an Indiana University fan, and cherished the time spent with his family and friends.

Surviving along with his wife Mincy; are four daughters, Julie (Jonathon) Cage, Wentzville, MO; Vicki Kleckner; Kim (Phil) Ladd, both of Lafayette; Anna Artrip, Logansport; granddaughters, Megan Baer, Lafayette; Katie (Ben) Spitler, Logansport; great grandchildren, Ryliegh, Rory and Ben Spitler II ; Caleb Harrold; two brothers, Thomas (Pat) Hunt, Rolla, MO; David (Kim) Hunt, Chesterton, IN; sister, Carol (Ziney) Jones, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Young and Bess Austin; and one brother, Jerry Hunt.

Bill’s family will be having a private celebration of life in his honor.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Heart Association.
