Stefanie CarterStefanie A. Carter, age 42, Logansport, passed away, along with her son, Nathanial Xavier “Nate” Gibbs, on Friday, May 19, 2017, of injuries sustained in a train/vehicle accident.

Born in Logansport on May 1, 1975, she was the daughter of Kevin Carter and Debra Rennewanz.

Stefanie had been employed at Kauffman Engineering in Logansport.

She had a love for music and dance, and had taken classes from her grandmother, Delores Rennewanz, as a child at Rennewanz School of Dance.

Stefanie was a proud mother to her two sons, Nathaniel Gibbs and Bradley Graves, who were her whole world.  She was always there for family, friends, and people she didn’t know.

Surviving is her son, Bradley Graves (fiancé, Hannah Jackson); parents, Kevin Carter and Deb Rennewanz; brothers, Jason Carter, Steve (Anna) Carter, all of Logansport, and KevinCarter, Jr. Indianapolis; sister, Paige (Josh) Hettinger, Gatlinburg, Tennessee; grandchild, Carson, Logansport; uncles, Gary (Marylin) Carter, Walton; Edward Rennewanz, Robert (fiancé, Lora Collins) Rennewanz; aunt, Dawn Utter; nephew, Landry Carter; and nieces, Jessilynn Carter, Adrian Carter, and Paris Carter, all of Logansport.

Also surviving are cousins, Scott Carter, Kristen (Gary) Hall, Jason Jennings, Linda Poag, Thomas Carter, Kelly Click, Rachel (fiancé, Steve Sammons) Carter-Kollmar, Brandi Rennewanz, Joey Utter, Broc (Wendy) Rennewanz, Alexis (fiancé, Dante Franco), Rob Utter, and Deion Rennewanz (Lindsey Cheney).

Preceding Stefanie in death were grandfather, William Carter; grandmother, Jane Carter; grandfather, Leonard Rennewanz; grandmother, Delores Rennewanz; aunt, Pat Carter; and uncle, Mike Carter.
