Charles Walter Gray

Charles Walter Gray, 70, of Kewanna passed away at 5:31 p.m., Saturday, June 10, 2017 at his residence.

Born May 7, 1947 in Hamilton, Ohio, he was the son of the late Thomas and Ethel (Johnson) Gray. On March 31, 1967, he married Lou Caudill. She survives.

Charlie was a retired farmer. He enjoyed mushroom hunting, deer hunting, fishing and playing Texas Hold ‘em.

Survivors include his wife, Lou Gray of Kewanna, daughter, Betty Morgan (David) of Fleming, Ohio, sons, Charles Gray (Gail) of Wimauma, Florida and Benjamin Gray and friend, Holly of Fulton, brothers, Bob Gray (Beverly) of Logansport, grandchildren, Patrick (Jessica), Amanda, Brandon, Jaima, Alasia, Anora, Mary and Aaron and great grandchildren, Gabriel, Lincoln, Elizabeth and Faith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, Aunt, Mabel Holt of Hamilton, Ohio, and our Texas Hold ‘em card players, 3 brothers-in-law, 3 sisters-in-law and father-in-law, Ben Caudill in Hamilton, Ohio.

He is also preceded in death by brothers, Thomas Gray, Edward Gray, Carl Gray and sister, Reba Silvers.

A Celebration of  Charlie’s life will be held Saturday, July 1, 2017 at Charlie and Lou’s residence at 5185 West 400 South, Kewanna, IN. 46939 with a Memorial Service conducted at 6:00 p.m. His brother, Bob Gray will officiate. Please dress casually and bring your own chair.
