Karen S. Kesler, 67, of Logansport passed away unexpectedly at 6:00 a.m., Monday, March 19, 2018 at her residence. Born on
May 30, 1950 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Harry J. Richter, Sr. and Dorothy (Strahlem) Richter.
She was a Logansport High School graduate.Karen was formerly employed at Farmer’s & Merchant’s Bank and she also formerly owned and operated Logan’s Port of Travel Agency. Most recently she worked part time at Wal-Mart.
Survivors include her brothers, William F. “Bill” Richter (M. Ellen) of Logansport, Harry J. Richter, Jr. (Peggy) of Kokomo and Earl R. Richter (Kathy) of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, good friend, Myra Brown of Logansport and her beloved dog, Maggie.
Karen was also preceded in death by her husband, Donald Kesler on November 21, 2003.
Services for Karen will be at 12:00 Noon, Friday, March 23, 2018 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel with Pastor Dean Snyder of Helm St. Church of God officiating.
Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery.
