Pamela A. Easley, 64 of Logansport, passed away surrounded by her family, on Monday, April 16, 2018 at University Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Born on March 8, 1954 in Logansport, she is the daughter to Don and Jean Morphet of Lucerne.  On July 8, 1978 in the Lucerne Christian Church she married her husband of 39 years, Steve Easley who survives.

Pam was a 1972 graduate of Pioneer High School. After high school she graduated from Indiana State and received her Master’s Degree of Science from Indiana University in 1988. Pam retired in 2016 from Logansport High School after 36 years as a teacher and Special Education Coordinator. She had also helped coach cheerleading and track for several years.

Pam was a member of Lucerne Christian Church and attended the Logansport Church of Christ. She enjoyed crafts, gardening and was the seamstress of the family.

Surviving along with her husband Steve and her parents, are two sons, Nathan (Melissa) Easley, Redondo Beach, CA; Captain Scott Easley, USMC and his wife Kari, Lithia, FL; grandchildren, Brayden, Madeline, Mackenzie, Michael and Maverick Easley; sister, Vickie (Greg) Goodrich, Lucerne, IN; two brothers, Tom Morphet, Lucerne; Mike (Emily) Morphet, Logansport; Aunt, Dorothy (Richard) Sparks, Michigan City, IN; several nieces, nephews, friends and family.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 20, 2018 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Strite officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 3:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 19 also in the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made in Pam’s name to the Semper Fi Fund, Marine Corp Scholarship Foundation, Cass County Special Olympics or to your favorite charity.
