Andrew (Drew) Scott Wilson, 37, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at Griffin Hospital in Derby, CT with his mother at his bedside.
Born March 30, 1981, in Logansport, IN, he was the son of Michael Allen Wilson and Sheila Kay (Blume) Anderson.
Drew was a Logansport High School Class of ’99 alumnus and Purdue University graduate. He went on to be an Electrical Design Engineer at Sikorsky Aircraft for over 10 years.
Drew had many interests including anything military related, fast cars, aircrafts, Jeeps, the Indianapolis Colts, the Cubs, Purdue, first responders, the great outdoors, electronics, music, and his dogs. He loved spending time with his family and friends.
Drew was preceded in death by three uncles, William (Bill) K. Blume, Kris L. Blume, and Donald E. Blume; and his grandfather, Ronald K. Blume.
Surviving are his daughter, Lily Ann Wilson and her mother Katherine B. Wilson; mother, Sheila K. Anderson and step-father, Rex; father, Michael A. Wilson and step-mother, Carla; brother, Brandon M. Wilson; half-sister, Shelly R. (Mitchell) Labhart; step-siblings, Jason, Rashelle, Kammille, Tyler, Charles, and Nichole; grandmother, Doris Blume; grandparents, Cecilia and Lenard Wilson; three uncles, Craig (Andra) Blume, Robert Wilson, and Brian (Jill) Wilson; nieces, Lyric, Hollyn, Darian, Shania, Kaelee, Reaghan, Josie, and Braylynn; nephews, River, Taylor, Jaret, Joey, Drake, and Paxton; and several more aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His daughter was his world.
Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 13, 2018, at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport.
Private interment will be held in Zion Cemetery, Lucerne, Saturday morning.
