Charles E. “Chic” Chilcott, III, 74, of Logansport passed away at 6:25 a.m., Monday, April 8, 2019 at Golden Living Healthcare Center in Kokomo.

Born on January 28, 1945 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Charles E. and Martha (Daughtery) Chilcott, II.

Chic was a 1964 Twin Lakes High School graduate.

He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam War.

On July 25, 2014 he married Sandy Jones, she survives.

Chic was former mechanic at Donato Motors and he also was formerly employed at Shepler Construction. He enjoyed being outdoors camping, canoeing and knife collecting.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Jones of Logansport, son, Charles E. “Ernie” Chilcott, IV (Alicia Sellers) of Durham, North Carolina, daughter, Beth Collings (Dayne) of Indianapolis, sister, Elizabeth “Liz” Chilcott of Logansport, brother, Joe Chilcott of Indianapolis, granddaughter, Chloe Sellers Chilcott and sisters in law, Pam Klemme and Patty Jones both of Kokomo. He was also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was also preceded in death by brother in law, Jerry Klemme.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, April 11, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel & Crematory with Chaplain Dave Dobson officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at the funeral home.

Burial with Full Military Rites will be performed at Davis Cemetery.
