Carolyn “Sue” Pentland, 73 of Royal Center passed away at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, July 25, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.

Born on February 12, 1946 in Kokomo, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Tolitha (Rater) Perkins.

Sue was a graduate of Sharpsville-Prairie High School.

On January 29, 1971 she married Jack A. Pentland. He preceded her in death on January 11, 2014.

Sue retired from Delco Electronics in Kokomo.

She was a member of Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center and she and her husband Jack enjoyed many years on their miniature donkey farm, sitting on the porch and most of all spending time with family.

Survivors include her children, Scott (Penny) Pentland of Winamac and Jody (Jeff) Frank of Logansport, grandchildren, TJ (Stephanie) Pentland of Logansport, Nicole Bonnell of Indianapolis, Troy (Emma) Pentland of Francesville, Jessica Bonnell of Royal Center and Ashley Bonnell of Royal Center and brother, Jim (Susie)Perkins of Sharpsville. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Coy Pentland, Jack Pentland, Isabelle Bonnell, Danielle Pentland and Vivian Bonnell.

She was also preceded in death by 4 brothers and 1 sister.

Services for Sue will be at 1:00 p.m., Monday, July 29, 2019 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Home & Crematory in Royal Center with Pastor Rich Utterback officiating. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday.

Burial will follow at Ever Rest Memorial Park.
