Kelson M. Winters

Kelson M. Winters, age 31, Walton, passed away Monday in Kokomo.

Born May 16, 1988, in Logansport, he was the son of Michael and Lori Lipscomb Winters, who survive, residing in Walton.

A 2006 graduate of Lewis Cass High School, Kelson enjoyed playing drums with the Marching Kings and continued to rock the set after graduation. He also enjoyed being on the beach in Florida and being with his family.

Surviving, in addition to his parents, are a sister, Gretchen Winters, Indianapolis; maternal grandmother, Sally Lipscomb, Walton; aunt and uncle, Lisa and Chris Robinson, Walton; and a number of cousins.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Harry Lipscomb; paternal grandparents, Gene and Marilyn Winters and uncle, Mark Winters.

A private service will be held at a later date.
