Michael Charles “Mickey” Hettinger

Michael Charles “Mickey” Hettinger, age 62, Logansport, passed away Friday, June 28, 2019, in his residence.
Born September 11, 1956, in Logansport, he was the son of Miles “Mike” E. and Jeanette “Mandy” Lancaster Hettinger.
Mickey had worked in production at the former Elco Manufacturing Plant prior to a medical disability.
He loved NASCAR racing, Harley Davidson motorcycles, Willie Nelson and especially his dog, Midnight.
He served in the United States Army.
Surviving are sons, Shay Michael (Jessica) Hettinger, Rochester and Adam (Kayla) Hardy, Russiaville; sisters, Pamela (David Clements) and Nancy (John) Gerrard, all of Logansport; grandchildren, Ethan Erb, Briseis Hardy, Charis Hardy and Chance Hardy; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mickey was preceded in death by his parents.
A military graveside service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2019, at Mount Hope Cemetery, with rites performed by uniformed active duty members of the United States Army and the Cass County Military Honor Guard.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery at the foot of his mother’s grave.
