Raymond Woodruff, Jr., 84, of Royal Center passed away peacefully at 3:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2019 surrounded by family.
Born on September 9, 1934 in Logansport, he was the son of the late Raymond and Florence May (Boyd) Woodruff.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran.
On December 28, 1985 he married Delores I. Bushman, she survives.
Raymond retired in 2000 from General Tire-BTR-Trelleborg in Logansport. He enjoyed fishing, camping, traveling and his beloved dogs, Teddy the traveler and Freddie.
Survivors include his wife, Delores Woodruff of Royal Center, daughters, Mary Kay Whiteman (Doug) of Monticello and Debra Ramsey (Thomas) of Monticello, grandchildren, Deanna Wright (Heather), Ricky Flores, Michelle James (DJ), Ryan Ward, Jason Whiteman (Laura), Shane Whiteman (April), Phillip Whiteman (Noel) and Bill Whiteman (Heather) and daughter in law, Linda Ward of Deer Creek. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by his son, Michael Ward.
Services with Full Military Rites will be performed at 3:00 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2019 at Harrison-Metzger-Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory in Royal Center with Pastor Julian Herrera officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Friday.
