Edward L. “Ed” Klinkhamer, Sr., 77, of Logansport passed away at 1:45 a.m., Wednesday, August 28, 2019 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born on December 16, 1941 in Kokomo, he was the son of the late Garrott and Goldie (Felix) Klinkhamer.
Ed owned and operated K & K wrecker service for over 40 years.
On November 24, 2001 he married Glenda (Denny) Fife, she survives.
Ed enjoyed spending time with family and loved his animals. He was an avid Nascar fan. When he was younger he raced his own cars at local tracks. Ed also owned several cars and bikes his sons raced throughout the state of Indiana.
Survivors include his wife, Glenda Klinkhamer of Logansport, sons; Edward Klinkhamer, Jr. (Angela) of Logansport, Ted Klinkhamer (Tonya Brady) of Logansport and Jesse Fife of Logansport and daughter Dustie (Tony) Hardin of Carmel. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren with one on the way.
A Celebration of Ed’s life will be at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, September 7, 2019 at Marocco-Rans Funeral Chapel. Devon Benn will officiate. Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.
