On Monday, August 26, 2019, Melissa K. Reed, formerly of Logansport, passed away at Northwest Medical Center in Tuscon, Arizona.
Melissa was born on December 23, 1957 in Peru, Indiana to Edward and Marlene (Brower) Reed. She is a 1975 graduate of Logansport High School and went on to serve in the United States Air Force until 1981. She enjoyed mushroom hunting, her beloved Indianapolis Colts, and the warm Arizona sun.
Melissa was preceded in death by her father, Edward, mother, Marlene, and brothers Ed, David and Jim. She is survived by her sisters, Gwen Frank and Traci Collins and brother, Steve; several cousins, nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and a new great-great nephew.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 7, at 2:00 pm at Marocco – Rans Funeral Home, Logansport, Indiana with Pastor Bruce Vernon officiating.
