Beverly Jean Slane, age 75, Logansport, passed away at 8:15 p.m. on Wednesday, November 6, 2019, in Chase Center.
Born February 25, 1944, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Dale Eugene and Violet Ragon Bougher.
Beverly was married to Michael Lee Lombardi, who preceded her in death in 1993. She was then married to Robert D. Slane, who survives.
Beverly owned and operated her own day care center. She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, Tina Berkshire, Logansport; step-son, Robert Bradley Slane, Hunt City, Ill., and step-daughter, Patty Ann Midget, Flat Rock, Ill.; brothers, Lowell (Joan) Bougher, Florida, Larry Bougher, Kokomo; sisters, Connie (Steve) Hines, and Marilyn (John) Barnes, all of Florida; granddaughter, Emilee Berkshire-Cearing (Dante Cearing), Logansport; great-grandchildren, Waolynn Cearing and Kingsley Cearing; brothers- and sisters-in-law on the Lombardi side of the family;and a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a son, Daniel Lombardi; and daughter, Annette Lombardi.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, at All Saints Catholic Church, with Fr. Jeff Martin officiating.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday at Kroeger Funeral Home.
Interment in Mount Hope Cemetery.
