Jana Marie McIntire, age 64, of Logansport, passed away Sunday December 15, 2019 at 10:52 pm in St. Vincent Hospital of Kokomo.
Born December 31, 1954 in Logansport, IN to the late Marshall Wayne McIntire and Christine Marie (Peters) Reynolds.
Jana retired in 2009 from the Logansport State Hospital where she had worked in the dietary department. She was a member of the New Life Alliance Church.
Survivors include one sister, Pamela Jean McIntire, Logansport; one step-sister, Marcia K. Hawkins, Ohio; one half-brother, Kent Reynolds, Monticello, IN; five uncles, Richard “Red” (Judy) McIntire, Yuma, AZ; Phillip “Pancake” (Mary Ann) McIntire, Logansport; Jerry (Ruthie) Peters, Elberfeld, IN; Allan Peters, Carlisle, IN; Glen (Jean) Peters, Indianapolis, IN; one aunt, Anita Smith, Holiday, FL; sister-in-law, Paula McIntire, Georgetown; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, Clara Varnell Murphey-McIntire, step father, Richard L. Reynolds, one brother, Jeffrey Wayne McIntire, and half-brother, Barry Reynolds.
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Monday December 23, 2019 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Ken Oravsky officiating. A private burial will be held at a later date in the Kistler Cemetery near Royal Center, IN.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of services on Monday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society or Cause For Paws.
