Milton D. Stuart

Milton D. Stuart, 95, Logansport, passed away Sunday December 22, 2019 in Logansport.

Born August 9, 1924 in Cass County, IN, he was the son of the late DeWitt and Margaret (Sheetz) Stuart.

On March 28, 1948 in Metea, IN, Milton married Inez Louise (Beverly) Stuart, who preceded in death August 31, 1973.

Milton had worked as a glazier for Bet-R-Way Glass and Harris Glass Company. Milton served in the US Army during WW2 as a radio operator in the European Theater. He was also was called back to service and served during the Korean War and was discharged as a SSGT.

Surviving are two children, daughter, Mary Lou (Mike) Morgan, Logansport; son, Duane (Kay) Stuart, Logansport; half-brother, Kenneth Stuart, AZ; two grandsons, Brad (Lindsay) Morgan, Greenfield, IN; Clayton Stuart, Chicago, IL; two granddaughters, Michelle (Jamie) Remley, Lucerne, IN; Trisha Spencer, FL; and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jay and Marlin Stuart.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Thursday December 26, 2019 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor John Newman officiating. A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial full military rites will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery of Logansport.
