Tammy Jo (Sadler) Kottkamp, 57, passed away peacefully in her home Monday, January 20, 2020 after a hard-fought battle with cancer.

Born in Gary, Indiana on April 5, 1962, Tammy is the daughter of Richard J. and Judith L. (Sobak) Sadler.

Tammy was formerly employed as a bookkeeper for the Gallery Home Furnishings and also Country Sales and Service.

Surviving is her loving partner, Don Steinberger; her children, Justin (Lacey) Kottkamp, Westfield; Amanda (Shawn Smith) Kottkamp, Fulton; four beloved grandkids, Alyssa and Wyatt Smith; Parker and Maxwell Kottkamp; father and step mother, Richard and Sandie (Hoffman) Sadler, Lake Placid, FL; siblings, Michael Sadler, Grass Creek; Ashlie Sadler, Sebring, FL.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Judith (Sobak) Sadler and sister, Laurie Ann (Sadler) Bowyer.

Tammy will be fondly remembered as a fun-loving woman whose grandkids were the light of her life. Her home was always a place of love and gathering, beautifully decorated for each holiday. In her free time, she could be found tending to her flowers and garden, sewing, crafting, rocking out at Don’s gigs or making memories with her grandkids.

A celebration of life will be held at 4:00 p.m. Saturday Jan. 25, 2020 in the Gundrum Funeral Home.

Visitation will be held from 2 – 4 p.m. Saturday Jan. 25, 2020 in the Gundrum Funeral Home
