Trampas E. Hanawalt, age 48, Logansport, passed away at 2:29 a.m. on Friday, December 27, 2019, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne.
Born November 25, 1971, in Logansport, he was the son of Thomas E. “Ed” and Becky Dodrill Hanawalt. His parents survive, residing in Logansport.
Trampas was married to April Appleton in Logansport on September 17, 1994.
A 1990 graduate of Logansport High School, he was a welder employed by NIPSCO.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are their children, Josh Hanawalt, Keygan Hanawalt and Salem Hanawalt, granddaughter, Leeyah Horton, all of Logansport; sister, Trisha (Matt) Mancini, Cave Creek, Arizona.
Also surviving are aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by grandparents, Harold and Barbara Hanawalt and John Dodrill.
Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, also at the funeral home, with Dr. Cole Westwood officiating.
Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery, Cass County.
