Shirley A. Garrison, age 85, Logansport, passed away at 5:45 a.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at Franciscan Health, Lafayette.
Born August 29, 1934, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Carl and Eunice Rogers Reichard.
Shirley was married on August 2, 1954, in Gulfport, MS, to Robert L. Garrison, who preceded her in death on April 13, 2001.
Shirley owned and operated the Logansport Academy of Beauty Culture in downtown Logansport for many years. She was then employed as a real estate agent for Pacesetters Real Estate.
She was a life member of the VFW Auxiliary Post 3790 and American Legion Post 60. She was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary, Moose and Daughters of the American Revolution.
Surviving are a son, Stephen (Nancy) Garrison, and daughter, Crickett J. A. Graf, all of Rochester; ten grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren and nine great-great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews.
A daughter, Roberta L. “Robbie” Conn, and sister, Barbara Mullis, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, February 7, 2020, and 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, at Kroeger Funeral Home.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, following visitation, also at the funeral home..
Interment will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society, 700 Water Street, or A Cause for Paws, PO 1402, both of Logansport 46947. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
