Don E. Foreman, age 86, Walton, passed away Friday, March 6, 2020, at McKinney Place.
Born Tuesday, October 24, 1933, in Floyd County, he was the son of Virgil C. and Irene Akin Foreman. On June 24, 1952, in Morristown, Indiana, he was married to M. Jayne McMurray, who survives.
Don worked at Jackson-Kitchell (red) and Grant Implement (green) in the parts department for over 40 years. The loves of his life were his family and mowing. A true “Hoosier” – he remained an ardent basketball fan his whole life. Above all, he especially enjoyed all Lewis Cass High School sports.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sons, Steve (Nancy) Foreman, Goreville, Ill., Randy (Shirley) Foreman, Walton, Mark Foreman, Logansport, Matthew Foreman, Houston, Tex., David Foreman, Wabash; sister, Stella M. Miethe, Bloomington; twelve grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.
Preceding in death were his parents, daughter, Mary E. Foreman, brother, Kenneth Foreman and great grandson, Joshua Pickering.
Visitation will be at Kroeger Funeral Home from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.
The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, also at the funeral home, with Mark Foreman, pastor, officiating. Visitation will also be from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, prior to the funeral.
Interment will be in the Walton I.O.O.F. Cemetery.
