It has come to the attention of the board of commissioners that some of the open businesses selling essential goods have started refusing non-essential purchases at the same time. It is your business so if that is what you choose to do we have no say.
Our concern is in placing the sales clerk in a bad position. We asked Howard County to modify their ordinance as Howard County residents were traveling to Cass County for their needs.
Please use your own judgment but it makes little sense to be able to buy one product and not another product sitting right next to it.
