Frank Diver Miller

Frank Diver Miller, age 80, Anderson, formerly of Logansport, passed away at 10:06 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2020, in Kindred Hospital, Indianapolis.

Born December 23, 1939, in San Diego, he was the son of Beryl T. and Nellie Brown Miller.

Frank retired in 1993 as a supervisor and instructor at Delco Remy (GM) in Anderson.

He served in the Indiana National Guard and then the U. S. Navy during the Cuban Missile Crisis and the early years of the Vietnam War. A 1959 graduate of Logansport High School, he was a member of the Logansport Moose, Logansport American Legion Post 60, Logansport VFW Post 3790 and the Logansport Veterans Council Executive Committee. He was proud of the fact that he provided military honors at many funerals of local veterans.

Frank was a fan of the Chicago Cubs, Indianapolis Colts and NASCAR. He was an avid bowler.

Surviving are sons, Robert F. Miller, James L. (Melanie) Miller, Anderson; step-son, Jeffrey L. (Melissa) Young Greencastle; step-daughter, Angela Mayhugh, Anderson; brother, Leon L. Miller, Young America; half-sister, Sharon Wesebaum, North Dakota; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-three great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Cherriese Burgan, brother, Robert Joseph Miller, step-sister, Carol Edwards, and grandson, Jeffrey Young, Jr.

Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home. Due to the Covid-19 virus only ten people will occupy the funeral home at any time. As visitors leave, others will be admitted.

The graveside service will be on Monday, April 27, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at Mount Hope Cemetery. Attendance at this graveside service will be limited as well. Military honors will be provided by uniformed members of the United States Navy.
