Charles M. “Mac” Williams

Charles M. ‘Mac’ Williams, 68, Logansport, passed away on July 8, 2020, in Community Howard Regional Health Hospital, Kokomo.

Born in Logansport on April 29, 1952, he was the son of Charles and Marjorie Jean Bennett Williams.

On February 28, 1998, in Logansport, he was married to Lisa M. Bradley, who survives.

A United States Army veteran, Mac had been a stockroom forklift operator for fifteen years at Kauffman Engineering.  He had also worked for five years at the Senior Center.

Mac enjoyed fishing, reading, playing the harmonica, and gardening.  He was a jokester and loved spending time with his family.  He was a member of Helm Street Church of God where he was a deacon and Sunday school teacher.

Also surviving are children, Shawn (Roberta) Williams and Ty Williams, all of Logansport; also, Dale Dilts, Lafayette and Alichia (James) Knight, Logansport; and nephew, Eric Sommers; and the mother of his children, Pamela Mason.

Grandchildren also surviving are Devon Williams, Kaden Williams, Dane (Jessie) Williams, Sarabia Williams, Maia Berry, and Cyrus Irvin; great grandchildren, Jax Williams and Willow Williams.

Preceding Mac in death were his parents, and granddaughter, Lilyan Berry.

Due to COVID-19 risks, masks are required to be worn at the church. The visitation will be on Friday, July 17, 2020, from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Helm Street Church of God with the service immediately following.  Reverend Dean Snyder will officiate the service. 

Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery with full military honors provided by the Cass County Honor Guard and uniformed members of the United States Army.
