Veral Edward “Ed” Palmer

Veral Edward “Ed” Palmer, 75, of Logansport, passed away Tuesday, September 15, 2020 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.

Born on June 16, 1945 in Oklahoma, he is the son to the late Veral J. and Rosa (David) Palmer. On May 28, 2002 in Brandenburg, Kentucky, he married Judy Eikenberry who survives.

Ed had worked for Verizon as a communication technician. He was a United States Air Force Veteran and served during the Vietnam War. Ed was a Harley Davidson enthusiast and a “jack of all trades”, he enjoyed gardening, working in his yard and volunteering his time as a “Disabled Armed Veterans” transport driver. He was a lifetime member of the V.F.W and American Legion in Logansport.

Surviving along with his wife Judy, is a son, Thomas (Marissa) Palmer of Effingham, IL; two daughters, Sally (Timothy) Markham of Logansport; Kathy (Jeremy) Price of Columbia City, IN; sister, Margaret Ann Culp of Peru; nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

A celebration of life gathering of friends and family will be held from 4 – 7 pm Friday September 18, 2020 at the V.F.W. Post #3790, 1023 Erie Ave. Logansport, IN.
