The state health commissioner, Dr. Kristina Box, tested positive for COVID-19. Other state health officials including the governor are being tested.

As of yesterday, 1,357 individuals were hospitalized in Indiana due to COVID-19, which is the highest number since May 13.

The governor said Indiana will remain in Stage 5 of the Back on Track reopening plan and the directive for Hoosiers to wear masks will continue through at least Nov. 14.

Cass County moved from yellow to orange on the state’s county metrics map on coronavirus.in.gov. Orange indicates moderate to high community spread based on results as of 10/11/2020.

Indiana was added to Chicago’s emergency travel order and to Ohio’s travel advisory this week. More info from Chicago here and from Ohio here.
