Andrew W. “Andy” Dunkin, age 24, Logansport, passed away Wednesday, October 14, 2020, from injuries sustained in a vehicular accident. His best friend from fourth grade, Matthew Hughes, was with him in the accident.
Born August 6, 1996, in Logansport, he was the son of Matthew Tucker and Michelle Dunkin. His mother, Michelle (Edward) Helvie, survives, residing in Logansport. His father preceded him in death.
A 2015 graduate of Logansport High School, Andy had been employed at Kauffman Engineering.
He enjoyed skateboarding, video games, pets — but especially cats. Andy could always make anyone laugh. He loved his family.
Surviving are a brother, Scott Heath; sister, Hannah Crane; half-brother, Matthew Tucker, Jr.; half-sister, Heavenly Tucker; maternal grandmother, Vera Dunkin; maternal grandfather, Richard Dunkin, all of Logansport; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A Visitation and Celebration of Andy’s life will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday, October 23, 2020, at Kroeger Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
