Chicago adds Indiana to emergency travel order; requires Hoosier visitors to quarantine

Indiana was added to Chicago’s emergency travel order on Oct. 13, 2020.

Effective at 12:01 a.m., Friday, Oct. 16, anyone arriving in Chicago from Indiana will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days or face fines.

Travelers from the following states and territories should quarantine upon arrival in Chicago: Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Mexico, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Puerto Rico, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Utah, Wisconsin, and Wyoming.
