Griffin Warfield

Last Updated on October 17, 2020 by Fisher Funeral Chapel

Former Logansport resident Griffin Warfield, 30, of Lafayette, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, October 16, 2020, in his residence.

Born April 28, 1990, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Karen Warfield, who survives in Logansport.

A 2008 graduate of Logansport High School, Griffin attended college at IPFW where he studied Theatre Tech.

Griffin was employed at Ice Cream Specialties in Lafayette as a 2nd shift yard manager, driver who assisted with load and ordering products.

Griffin was rather shy and slow to make friends, but those friends were steadfast. He loved to listen to music and driving around – filming the scenery on his phone. Although a quiet man, he was always willing to help his friends with projects, though he was reluctant to ask for help for himself. Griffin also enjoyed some solitary times playing around on his guitar.

Surviving with his mother, Karen, are Aunt LeAnn and Uncle Gary Seward, of Logansport; two cousins, Jamie Seward and family, Louisville, KY, and Jessica Seward, Logansport; and his dog, Augustus.

A Funeral Service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, October 21, in Fisher Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Ellison officiating.

Friends will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service in the funeral chapel.

Memorial contributions may be made in Griffin’s memory to the Cass County Humane Society or your own local Humane Society.
