Kimberly Ellen Carroll, 64, of Royal Center passed away unexpectedly at 8:30 a.m., Wednesday, October 14, 2020 at her home. She fought the fight and has now completed the course.

Kim was born on December 22, 1955 in Lafayette to the late John Thomas and Mary (Parker) Phillips.

She married her best friend, Steve Carroll on December 1, 1979, he survives.

Kim never met a stranger.  She was the most loving, compassionate, kind hearted person, always helping those less fortunate.  Kim loved watching and feeding her birds and tending to her flower garden.  Kim loved the game “spit” and playing cards on Wednesdays and Thursdays with her sister Tammy and friends.  She was also a member of the Logansport Rose Society.

Survivors include her husband, Steve Carroll of Royal Center, daughter, Amy McMahan (John) of Galveston, sister and best friend, Tammy Haselby (Ward) of Royal Center, brothers, Dru Phillips (Lisa) of Culver and Randy Phillips (Dawn) of Winamac, half sisters, Shelley and Leslie Phillips of Florida, granddaughter, Jillian Kilgore (Bryan) of Kokomo and great granddaughter, Lily and sister in law, Jan Meeks of Logansport.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nephews.

Kim was also preceded in death by beloved grandson, Joshua Kilgore and half brother, John.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, Royal Center with Pastor David Sommers officiating.

Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Saturday.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
