Virginia June Smith, 94, of Royal Center passed away at 8:02 a.m., Monday, October 12, 2020 at Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born on June 30, 1926 in Cass County (Noble Township), Indiana she was the daughter of the late Alonso and Mary Ellen (Spencer) Foust.

Virginia went to Royal Center High School and she enjoyed crocheting, reading, camping and family.

She was a lifelong homemaker and sold Tupperware for over 40 years.

She was a former member of Grace United Methodist Church and currently attended Baptist Christian Church in Royal Center.  Virginia was also a member of the Royal Center Order of Eastern Star.

On July 1, 1961 she married Lawrence E. Smith, Jr. and he preceded her in death on April 30, 2013.

Survivors include her children, Mary June McIntire of Royal Center, Rebecca Johnson (Kenneth) of Fairborn, Ohio, Norma Jo Howard of Royal Center, and Lorie Berkshire (Tim) of Royal Center, step sons, Daniel Smith (Kathy) of Burnettsville and Kenneth Smith (Gail) of Pekin.  She is also survived 19 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by great great grandson, Aaden Snay, step son, Edward Smith, 3 sisters and 1 brother.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday, October 16, 2020 at Rans Funeral Homes & Crematory, Harrison Chapel, Royal Center.

Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until the time of the service.

Burial will follow at the Royal Center Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may made to the Baptist Christian Church.
