Mary Jo Jacko, 78, of Royal Center passed away at 4:41 a.m., Saturday, November 2020 at her home.

Born on August 12, 1942 in Hillsboro, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late James and Dorothy Mae (Guile) Hofacker.

She was a graduate of Mattoon Community High School in Mattoon, Illinois.

She was a longtime Administrator for the Cass County Home.  Mary Jo was a member of the American Legion and the VFW.

Survivors include her children, Katherine Hall (Randy) of Peru, Karren Lewis of Texas and Kevin Jacko (Rita) of Bristol, brother in law, Chuck Scott of Noblesville, grandchildren, Cory Hall (Heather), Brandon Hall (Natalie), Andrew Hall (Kori Mae), Angela Jo Jacko, Chad Jacko, Tarrah Pee (Anthony), Andrea Mathis (Lawrence), Kevin Jacko (Brittney), Christopher Jacko, Lawrence Jacko, Samantha Jacko and Scott Jacko (Andrea).  She is also survived by 16 great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Keith Jacko, sister Barbara Scott and son in law, Lawrence Lewis.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.

To my family and friends, my time on earth has come to an end. Know I lived life my way so shed no tears for me. Remember the good times and the memories we shared together. Until we meet again celebrate life and know I loved you all.
