Noe Alexander “Alex” Contreras

Noe Alexander “Alex” Contreras, 19, formerly of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2020, in Tipton County.

Born September 6, 2001, in Kokomo, he was the son of Angela Cole (Shad Clements), of Logansport, and Noe Contreras, of Mexico.

Alex was serving in the Army Reserves and his deployment into active duty was delayed due to the pandemic. He was looking forward to serving his country as a soldier in the United States Army.

His bubbly personality coupled with a smile that could light up a room, Alex loved to make people laugh. He was the stereotypical “class clown” in school. He enjoyed rapping and singing – quite literally, Alex was a party waiting to happen. He loved people – he had a huge, caring heart. Alex always put others’ needs before his own and he would do anything to help those in need.

Surviving with his parents are his two-year-old daughter, Mylah Renea Contreras; maternal grandmother, Karen Cole, Logansport; siblings, Zachary (Nichole) Davila, Kokomo, Ashleigh Davila(Jorge Almeida), Lucerne, Kourtney (Braxten) Logan, Logansport, and Stephanie Davila (Daniel Gonzalez), Logansport; and nieces, Mackenzie, Adalyn, and Sofia; and nephews, Eli, Jaxson, Jayson and Jovani. He is also survived by his daughter’s mother, Andrea Rodriguez and additional siblings and extended family members living in Mexico.

Alex was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Sam Cole; and his step-father, Dennis Brewer.

Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, services will be private.

Interment, at a later date, will be in Mount Hope Veterans Square.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Mylah Renea Contreras Fund to help provide for her future.

Fisher Funeral Chapel has been entrusted with arrangements. You may share memories, photos and condolences on Alex’s Tribute Wall at www.fisherfuneralchapel.com.
