Carol (Swartzlander) Morock

Carol Morock, 81, of Logansport, passed away Friday, January 8, 2021 in her residence.

Carol was born on February 17, 1939 and is the daughter to the late Kenneth D. and Virginia (Fye) Swartzlander. Carol married Carl Morock on June 8, 1957.

Carol graduated from Logansport High School in 1956. She was a member of Market Street United Methodist Church and attended the First Church of the Nazarene. Carol worked as an assistant bookkeeper for Marsh Supermarket in Logansport for 30 years. She also worked as a teacher’s assistant at Columbia Elementary for 11 years. Carol enjoyed participating the bowling leagues at Myer’s Bowling alley, she also loved to watch her great grandsons play baseball.

Surviving is a son, Michael (Kathy) Morock of Royal Center, IN; three daughters, Sue Neher of Logansport, IN, Michelle (Tim) Schlick of Noblesville, IN, Kelley (Charlie) Cogswell of Logansport, IN; five grandsons, Shane (Tiffany) Morock of Logansport, IN, David (Chelsi Kitchen) Morock of Brownsburg, IN, Bobby (Meredith) Morock of Logansport, IN, Austin Schlick of Noblesville, IN, Tommy (Lane) Morock of Logansport, IN; four granddaughters, Brooke (Kyle) Smith of Logansport, IN, Tara (Adam) Crabb of Monticello, IN, Erin (Neil Wethington) Schlick of Sheridan, IN, Tasha (Josh) Oakley of Dayton, IN; five great-granddaughters, Jaelyn Benish, Arian Morock, Ava Morock, Kendall Smith, Brielle Smith; five great-grandsons, Clayton Morock, Keaton Morock, Bodie Beamer, Landon Morock, Brandon Morock; niece, Judy Brew of Lake Cicott, IN; several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her sister, Virginia A. Masters.

A funeral service will be held at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Allen officiating.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM also in the funeral home.
