Christina Lane “Christy” Bounds, 42, Logansport, passed into the hands of our Lord to give her heart a rest on Thursday, January 21, 2021, at the Indiana University Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born October 29, 1978, she was the daughter of Cynthia Sue Conrad Townsend.
Christy was a graduate of Logansport High School. She had worked at Chase Center and Camelot Care Center. With a big heart full of love, Christy cared deeply for the residents. She was currently employed at Arby’s and enjoyed her job and all the friends she met there.
With a passion for cooking, Christy enjoyed eating unique foods with hot sauce – the hotter, the better. She also loved to travel and go antique shopping.
She is survived by her mother and her step-father, Cynthia and Nicholas Townsend; two precious daughters, Michelle and Mia; step-grandparents, Wallace and Carole Townsend; and several cousins.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Nancy J. Conrad.
Services will be private.
Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions, in Christy’s memory, may be made to the patient activity funds at Chase Center and Camelot Care Center or to a favorite charity of the donor’s choice.
