David Glenn ‘DG’ Downham, age 42, Logansport, passed away at 2:05 a.m. on Saturday, January 16, 2021, in his residence.
Born February 7, 1978, in Logansport, he was the son of David R. and Dawn Hathaway Downham, both of whom survive.
David had been seasonally employed at Mount Hope Cemetery.
A 1996 graduate of Logansport High School, he loved working outdoors and bird-watching.
Dave was a member of Cross-Wind United Methodist Church, which he attended faithfully and enjoyed.
The only thing he loved more than the Chicago Cubs was his family, especially his son, Gabriel.
Surviving, in addition to his parents and his son, are two sisters, Cassandra (Westley) Looker, Logansport, and Melissa (Frank) Kaicy, Greenwood; several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Friday, January 22, at Cross-Wind United Methodist Church.
The funeral service is scheduled for 4:00 p.m. on Friday, also at Cross-Wind United Methodist Church, with Rev. Nick Robinson officiating.
Interment will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
