Eva Jean Keller

Eva Jean Keller, age 87, Kokomo, passed away at 6:26 a.m. on Monday, January 4, 2021, at Community Howard Regional Health in Kokomo.

Born in Carroll County on Monday, June 12, 1933, she was the daughter of Ralph and Eva (DeWald) Galbreath.

On August 2, 1952, she was married to Walter Keller, who preceded her in death on April 21, 2019.

A 1951 graduate of Logansport High School, Eva was retired from Federal Mogul.  She loved canning vegetables, was a wonderful cook, and a splendid gardener. She absolutely loved her husband and their dog, Jake. 

She was a member of VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary.

Eva had the kindest neighbors who looked out for her and Walter’s happiness and safety daily, and they were considered one of their own. The family could never thank them enough for helping keep them safe all these years.  

Surviving are children, David (Tanya) Keller, Carmel, Edward (Deb) Keller, Pennsylvania, Vickie (Jack) Hahn, Fort Wayne, Kathy (Todd) Cripe, New Waverly and Leisa (Jeff) Keller-Henry, Kokomo.  Also surviving are 15 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. 

Eva was preceded in death by her brothers, Clarence, Richard, Charles, Joseph, Louis, Stanley and James; and sisters, Helen, Mary, Caroline and Anna.

A graveside service will be scheduled at a later date.

Memorial contributions in memory of Eva and her dog, Jake, may be made to Greentown Animal Hospital, 59 N 950 E, Greentown, IN 46932.
